Laboratory Leader (m/f)
We are a Tier 1 automotive company with more than 2000 employees globally servicing major OEM customers. Our innovative products range includes power train cooling and AC systems.
A key milestone in our global expansion was reached through the recent set up of our Luxembourg office from which is now growing rapidly to become an Industry leader in Europe.
To accompany our expansion, we are looking to recruit a
Laboratory Leader (m/f).
Profile and experience
Master degree in mechanical or measurement and control engineering
At least 5 years of experience in system or component testing (Thermodynamics, airflow)
Great expertise in test requirements evaluation and specification and in tests equipment implementation, validation, preparation, carrying out and creation of test procedures
Proficiency in controlling and maintaining test equipment
Skills and abilities
Fluency in English and German is mandatory, French or Polish a strong asset
Ability to travel to clients and suppliers
Well-structured and organised with great analytical skills and logical thinking
Problem-solving attitude and great conflict management skills
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, intercultural experience would be considered a great advantage
Good command of MS office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledgeable in CAD

The role
Develop test processes and procedures to meet customer and international standards
Specification and validation of test equipment
Get all tests certified and released from customers and/or other institution
Coordinate tests with external suppliers
Assure that all activities are in line with quality, health’s and safety requirements
Run product and system tests
Analyse and interpret test results
Plan and provide test capacities in line with project timings
Maintain equipment operational
